I went totally by others recommendations and I am so glad I did. This little place is a Must. The food was delicious, ambiance was great and the service was also great. I love finding a perfect spot when I visit a new place and this restaurant qualifies as that. We really enjoyed the food decor and even the playlist. The planning here was well done. Our group was 7 adults, we tried the catfish, chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits and the 3 cheese burger and the corn bread and homey butter. Everything was delicious. I might dream about the cornbread because the combo with the honey bitter was delectable. Thank you Bee soulful for a lovely experience. See you next time we visit the area.

Smoke is my favorite jazz club in NYC. The food is reasonably good, the atmosphere is intimate and festive and the music (most important) is very well curated. I have never experienced a performance that I didn't really like - if not absolutely love. Best, even though the seating is a bit tight, one doesn't feel squashed in next to others like so many other jazz clubs in New York. I also really like that iIf you have not been, go. You won't be disappointed.
