Best Vegan Restaurants in Limpenhoe

This was our first visit to the lodge. We were really impressed. A lovely big restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient. There seemed to be a lot of staff about. The food was excellent. Everything we ordered was very well cooked and they had good sized portions. A really nice place I am sure we will be back.

Main meal and wine was great indeed really nice steak, desserts were terrible cheery crème brûlée was more like scrambled egg and the pear tartartan was a slice that had come out of the fridge these should be cooked to order Service was average a bit slow getting to us pleasant enough but no personality All in all it was ok

Lovely experience. We had the Peter Pan afternoon tea and it was delicious! We also loved the added touch that £1 per afternoon tea is donated to St Ormond Street Hospital! The display was lovely with lots of fun details. We went on Valentine’s Day and it wasn’t too loud or crowded. We were celebrating a birthday and we received a birthday card and a little chocolate treat with a candle in on the arrival of our tray. Staff were polite and attentive. Highly recommend.

Firstly we were a little early and so the waiter looked for a table and we were seated right by the door. Wasn’t the best table but to be fair the restaurant was very busy. Secondly the staff were very good, friendly and almost too efficient. Our food came out too fast. We were still eating our starters when the mains appeared so felt like we had to eat a little fast for our liking. Thirdly my wife ordered a large glass of Sauvignon which was over £10 and I thought that was pricey for a single glass. Lastly we both really enjoyed the food, it was delicious and full of flavour. The ambience was lovely and the staff were awesome. I’ve listed the faults but in all honestly we would 100% eat here again. Not the cheapest but we believe in paying good money for good food and you didn’t disappoint. Maybe just read the table and slow the service a little so we don’t feel rushed. This was well worth the long walk from our hotel in the rain. The service was friendly and the food absolutely delicious. We had the Love to Share platter followed by Gobi Manchurian with Black House Dhal and Pulav Rice. Very good value too.
