Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Boxworth

Very welcoming, this is our second visit and the staff on both occasions have been very friendly and the food is delicious with very generous portion sizes. Great atmosphere, will definitely be returning.

This is the second time I’ve been to 1867 this time it was my sister‘s birthday. She had a balloon on her table. Lunch was amazing. Service was impeccable and on leaving, she was handed a bottle of Prosecco and a card from the team. It made her feel very special and I will be going back again very soon, thank you ladies.

Lovely setting, beautiful savouries and scones. For the price there were far too many sweet treats- these were lovely but became simply inedible due to the sheer size and amount. The amount of pistachio crème on the mince pie was somewhat sickly and I think substance over style would be more appreciated. Our waiters were lovely though, and nothing was too much. Also- it would be nice to have proper boxes to take sweet treats home in as again, it was simply impossible to eat that much sugar in one sitting.
