Best Authentic Restaurants in Woodton

We were quietly celebrating a good friend’s birthday and drove from Colchester to eat at this beautiful restaurant. The interior is magical with its hanging lights and cavernous dining hall. The food is 100% vegetarian and vegan and so, as vegetarians, we could choose anything from the menu in comfort. One of our diners has a gluten intolerance and the waiter advised us, knowledgeably, about the appropriateness of each item ordered. The food was wonderful! We shared a mixed starter and all commented on the quality. The main dishes were fresh; the dosa was crispy as it should be. The staff were attentive, but not too attentive, and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We all talked about what a lovely experience the evening had been on the drive home.

Absolutely love this place. Really tasty, fresh, real food and as someone with celiac disease a welcome addition to places I can eat out in Norwich.

An excellent evening meal, with a couple I have known since the 1960's, though this was the first time we had met up in person for forty years: it was an immensely happy occasion - not least because of the very efficient and friendly service and the warm welcome extended to us by Daniel. I have been a fairly regular customer over the past five years at the Norwich 'Cote' This evening's experience was a vast improvement, I have to say, compared with a meal I had with two friends at Norwich 'Cote' in June this year, when the ambience and service left much to be desired. I am delighted that the Norwich 'Cote' is back on track again and plan to go again next week.

Good Indian food and nice service. Quiet. Price is reasonable, there’s a 12.5% service fee added.

Always good imaginative cooking. Only ever lunched but a favourite place for a light lunch in Norwich.
