The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. Third time visiting Reis and it never fails to provide the best ambience for a wonderfully social evening. Food and staff are exceptional. Nothing too much trouble. Shame the dancing space isn’t a little bit bigger but apart from that would highly recommend this venue for any occasion.

Delicious food in lovely comfortable restaurant; service was impeccable; wine ordered was a quality product; we thought the set lunch provided great value with free basket of hot bread with some sauces Overall a great experience as we had a lovely leisurely afternoon over lunch and we will definitely repeat this soon
