Everything as always was brilliant - service food and wine

Had wonderful meal to celebrate my wife's birthday. All the food between 3 of us was cooked beautifully and tasted great. The service was welcoming, friendly and efficient.

Fantastic Sunday lunch again at Hibou. Service was friendly and efficient and as always the atmosphere and ambience were excellent. We were tempted by the oysters as a pre-starter and it was a great decision. They were well presented and super tasty. We had prawn cocktail, fish cakes and scotch eggs for starters and all were delicious. The mains of turkey and two pork were absolutely superb. Really good portions and the meat cooked perfectly. There were plenty of vegetables of broccoli, green beans and cauliflower. The Yorkshire puddings were fantastic and the gravy is some of the best we have had. Pigs in blankets were really nice too. With two pints, two large glasses of wine, an apple juice and the 10% service charge (fully deserved) the bill was just under £159 for three. The whole experience was fabulous and we are looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks.

My girlfriend and I visited the restaurant for the first time on Saturday evening with our 18 week old son, who was in his pram. The staff were so accommodating of us it was beyond belief. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. My only regret is having been aware of this restaurant we haven't been to it sooner. We'll definitely be going back!! Highly recommended!!
