Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. Went for the Carvary on Sunday 4th Nov. the lady that waited on us was absolutely amazing! She made us feel so welcome - very attentive. The drinks came quickly and my daughters fish and chips came out quickly too, that was average. The carvary was lovely - the beef was a little dry but the gammon and all the trimmings made up for it. Really good value for money - there was 5 of us and the bill came to £80 - x2 drinks each and my two kids had a pudding each. Good value in our opinion.

Second time at Alora and we tried the Sunday roast. Was the best roast we have ever had. Great value for money and good quantity. Lovely service and made to feel very special (on my birthday). Will definitely be visiting again soon
