The service however must really take pride of place. I had forgotten what it's like to be served so wonderfully professionally - and my party were in full agreement. Sadly, it is very rare these days to have restaurant service from people who take pride in their work and ensuring that guests have a good time. Yes, Mr Chow is expensive, but like the ad says - it's worth it.More infoMR CHOWPrice: Very Expensive• Chinese• Knightsbridge•4.2
- BBLondon •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoIf you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Ambrosia Lobster Steakhouse is the place to go! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and elegant, with just the right balance of sophistication and comfort. The star of the menu? The lobster and steak, of course. The surf and turf combo was perfectly cooked—succulent lobster with a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth texture, paired with a steak seared to perfection and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight. The service was impeccable; our server was attentive without being intrusive, and their wine pairing suggestions elevated the meal even further. The attention to detail is what sets Ambrosia apart—from the presentation of the dishes to the beautifully plated desserts. It’s clear they’re passionate about delivering a top-notch experience. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just indulging in a night out, Ambrosia Lobster Steakhouse is a must-visit. Worth every penny! Menu offered was amazing and varied with a great selection of quintessential Italian delights. Quality of food was outstanding, fresh, flavoursome and good portions - ambience was as expected but we did eat at a quieter time and confident it gets busy due to quality of food on offer. Overall really enjoyed our experience and highly recommended.More infoVilla BiancaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Hampstead•4.8
- AAlbertoLondon •1 review5.0Dined on 19 Nov 2024Great food, great service. I’ve been in plimsoll before because their burger. I couldn’t come back with some friends to let them try it too. We got 5 burgers but at the end we ordered 3 more with extra cheese and at the end they were even better. My friend was looking for bacon but for me the crunchiness of meat was enough. Very good balance of flavours. I tried many burgers but probably this is the best in London. I was a bit sad realising they removed the green salad with walnuts from the menu cuz it was really good but I understand can be because the seasonal changes etc. Another must to try are the potatoes with aioli. We also got other dishes but I would say these 2 were the best. The pub was full but the service was fast. The kitchen is not big but they are very organised. Same with table service, we had some requests and the blonde girl who served us was really nice and patient haha I forgot to asked her name for the mention Overall a great experience! Thank you guys!More infoThe PlimsollPrice: Expensive• Pub• Highbury•4.8
