Bruce came and chatted at our table, he’s knowledge, experience and passion is captivating and it was a real pleasure talking to him about food. Thank you to all the staff at the acorn for a really lovely Sunday afternoon. We loved it so much we rebooked for the next Friday night and can see us visiting often. The service staff are all very friendly and welcoming but the service is slow, took about 15 mins to get our drink and food order taken and then another 15 mins for drinks to arrive and then 30 mins for food to arrive, in not a particularly busy restaurant, it should be quicker, especially when you are with a toddler you are trying to keep entertained. The food also came out in a strange order, my wife had received and nearly finished her main before mine arrived.
