All the meat on our menus is “nose to tail” so the menu is ever changing, and we waste nothing. We even employ our own head ranger to keep the deer herds on the land we manage under control, and have our own deer larder in the Cotswolds where this amazing product is processed.Our fish comes from day boats in Cornwall.We work with the seasons, ensuring the very best truly local veg is with us the day after its picked. Lovely festive, cosy atmosphere with fairy lights, candles and an open fire. Excellent food and drinks. Only small quibble was that our pigs in blankets looked a bit anaemic (I prefer a well done sausage!)

Absolutely fabulous from when you walk through the door to when you leave after having enjoyed great food, in a warm setting where the background noise is just right to ensure you can still enjoy a lively conversation with friends. We had a warm welcome, were seated promptly with a menu so delicious we committed to go back for more! Our waitress was super friendly and helpful and continued throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was great as always with portion size just right and at the end of the evening the bill was extremely good value for money.

Drinks service was a little slow but didn’t stop us having a lovely evening. The food was tasty and portion sizes were good. The price for the lamb special for 2 was a tad high at £85.

The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. The burgers were good size, very flavorful and juicy. The coleslaw I got with mine was excellent. Best burger I have had in quite a while. We were very happy and highly recommend this restaurant.
