Food was great, fantastic value for money and came very quickly. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had 2 young children as part of our party and staff were very accommodating with their needs as well. Definitely would recommend.

This is a delightful pub, with good lighting, superb food and great, friendly service. We shared the monkfish Wellington special and it was sublime. It could have done with a tiny bit less salt, but otherwise it was perfection, the flavours of the vermouth, the nicely seasoned pomme purée and the jus went so well together and we felt the concept of a non-beef Wellington was exciting and bold. And it worked!! Paired it with a very nice Chenin blanc. Our antipodean waitress was quirky and charming and service was excellent. We shall definitely be back!

Lucky to get a booking last minute on Valentines night it was almost full. But a great experience - good service and nice food.

My husband and I only booked last minute, on the morning of Valentine’s Day in fact. We usually get an M&S dine in meal but Stoke Place was offering a 3 course meal with a bottle of wine, for such a reasonable price that we decided to go out instead. It’s very local to us, the ambience and service is exceptional and we love it there! Definitely recommended and we enjoyed our evening immensely.

The ambiance is lovely with a light pink decor. The food was okay, Karak chai was good. The service we found was poor. The food took quite a long time to be served. No water or cutlery, tissues served until we kept asking for it. Overall satisfactory.
