Best Vegan Restaurants in Aldwych

Perfect food, perfect service (as usual!). Sara and Dominic were total stars and looked after me and my friend excellently.

We visited Mildred's for lunch to celebrate my daughter's 18th, two of our party were vegetarian so it was nice for them to have the full choice of the menu. The food was absolutely delicious, we particularly loved the red pepper romesco, the arancini and kimchi gyoza. I had the masala brunch which was lovely. We couldn't fault anything and can't recommend it highly enough. Even my husband, who as a meat-eater and was slightly nervous about finding something he liked, raved about the food. Definitely pay it a visit, vegan or not!

Dined here before a seeing a show on 14th Feb - had the pre-theatre menu. Thought it was very reasonably priced. Food was excellent and service was extremely attentive. Drinks were a little expensive but nothing out of the ordinary for this part of the world. 12.5% service charge automatically added to the bill - as the staff were brilliant we left this charge on. Toilets needed updating, quite run down considering the rest of the restaurant, but they were clean. Only slight negative is the closeness of all the tables, we could very clearly hear conversations either side of us which was distracting. Could do with spacing out the tables more. Overall, a great experience and would definitely return.

Great food and atmosphere. The valentines meal was nice, albeit it wasn’t clear when booking that a la carte was not being served after 5pm. Still good value considering the quality of the food. Our host Faiza was lovely. She assured we had everything we needed with enthusiasm and a smile and we were not chased for our table either. Recommended.

A truly five star experience! Staff were flawless, the afternoon tea was a delight; the sandwiches and pastries were very good. We didn’t realise one could ask for more sandwiches, otherwise we would have attended with more of an appetite! Coffee (decaf available) was offered as an alternative to tea which was appreciated.
