Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! I ate here 12 years ago. It was so memorable I had to go back during my first time visiting London since then. And it was even better. Than the memory. That is rare. I have never had venison as tender as wagyu beef before. I feel connected with the ‘āina, as we say in Hawaiian, through this food. A meal at Harwood Arms is akin to a ramble in the countryside, and a bit of a history lesson to boot. Chestnut soup with a surprise of chestnut mushrooms at the bottom—it made me chuckle!

I have now visited Ma Cuisine on four occasions in two years as we live 180 miles away. The Service is so friendly and the food so authentic French and tasty.. love the place.
