Best Casual Restaurants in Chesterfield

Much better experience this time, seems Chatsworth have taken on board the recent feedback from many customers about the drop in quality, cold food and poor service, which is unforgivable when you are paying a premium price. On this visit we no issues with any of our parties meals and the service was good, only observation was that the single, very small sausage, was underwhelming. We will return again.

Great Sunday lunch with friends. The staff dealt with ease at some complex dietary requirements of the table. Food was delicious.

Came for Sunday lunch to the Woodside. The food was very good, quite large portion and you could tell the food was made from scratch. The only thing I would say was the sprouts were still quite raw but other than that the food and drinks were good, however quite pricey. Service was good and all servers were very friendly and helpful with any queries.

We came for a last minute Friday dinner out and had a lovely time! We were welcomed by the lovely team into the warm and cosy pub. We both had a starter and main each and the food was absolutely delicious, the portions were very generous and the value was fantastic! What was really lovely, we didn’t feel at all rushed and were allowed to enjoy our meals at our own pace. We’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you for a lovely evening ☺️

I have to say this pub is simply amazing! We have been for drinks before after walks around the Peak District and always loved it! But we decided to eat here this evening for my birthday meal and we weren’t disappointed! The staff went above and beyond, we really lovely and jolly. Everyone was happy! The dining area was so lovely. It’s the right balance of special for a nice meal and cosy country pub. It’s dog friendly too and they made a fuss of the dogs and gave them a water bowl! Thank for making my birthday meal so lovely!
