Best Casual Restaurants in Torrey Pines

My partner and I had an amazing experience. There were absolutely no complaints whatsoever from the service to the food which by the way, spectacular. I don’t think anything was wrong with it and will definitely come back again.

Musician on the guitar was a nice touch. Suggestion: Dim the lights a bit for evening dining.

We had wonderfully delicious enchilada dinners ! One was the steak , moist flavorful and tender and the other we upgraded to all lobster .. Being from the Boston area , we were impressed with the flavor combinations and amount of meat in the dinners :-) the service was attentive and noise level and decor fun and festive !! Well done South of Nicks Del Mar !!

Excellent food and service. They used to be almost exclusively tacos, but they have now added some other items like burritos and enchiladas. All of the flavors are unique and delicious. I especially love the crispy cheese layer on a lot of the tacos. I wish they had more chicken tacos. My favorite taco now is the chicken al pastor. They have had a couple of chicken ones (even one just recently) and they were delicious.

Dalton was Fantastic!! Top tier tea service!! Everything was exquisite and beautifully presented, thoroughly explained, and happily enjoyed. We weren’t made to feel rushed which is so important when enjoying tea with a friend. The manager Jenna checked on our table and cheerfully asked for our feedback. We were incredibly impressed with their desire to improve what is already a phenomenal experience. My only recommendation to handicap patrons is that the parking is further down and the entrance without stairs is on the side. They were very accommodating and allowed us in 3 minutes before opening so we wouldn’t have to stand in the cold wind with our canes. Definitely empathetic people that prioritize customer service. I’m pretty sure we just found our new favorite neighborhood restaurant!!!!
