- NNikkiIndiana •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoFrom the moment we walked in, to the time we left, everything was perfection. The ambiance is incredible. The beautiful lighting, big windows looking out onto the city, the comfortable leather booth seating, and striking decor- everything around us felt special. The drinks were spot on, with a unique espresso martini. And the food, WOW! Everyone’s meal was phenomenal. My pork chop was perfectly prepared, my husband had the lamb and gave it a 10/10. Our friends had the dry aged Ribeye and Chicken dish and they were both impressed. Our server Ben never missed a beat and helped guide us through the menu. I highly recommend dining at Commission Row as soon and as often as you can! Oh, and don’t forget to stop downstairs at Mel’s Speakeasy for a drink! Such a cool and swanky vibe down there with an eclectic list of drinks to choose from!More infoCommission RowPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown Indy•4.8
- NNealIndiana •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis is such a unique and elegant experience. Book a table, put on some nice clothes, and make the drive. From the time you turn into the drive that takes you through the manicured grounds flanked by sculptures to the door of the estate that houses RH, you are transported to one of the most lovely places in Indy. The store itself covers every room with beautiful RH furniture, but the restaurant is spectacular. The menu has everything including different caviar service as well as a modern brunch service with expertly crafted drinks, espresso, and two types of freshly pressed juice drinks. The impossibly thin pancakes and their black Forrest bacon was unlike I’ve had anywhere. My wife had the avocado toast which was very hearty yet light with pickled onions and a salad of parsley and dill. We can’t wait to come back and see the handsome views (not to mention the outdoor furniture) in person when the weather is warmer. Get on the list now!More infoThe Dining Room at RH IndianapolisPrice: Expensive• American• South Indy•4.6
- RRyanChicago / Illinois •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I I only go out to a fancy restaurant once or twice a year. We were excited to go to Up Cellar for the first time because it is closer to us on the South Side. It did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the mood and ambiance were perfect, and our server, Taylor, was fantastic! She provided very helpful insight on the menu, was attentive but also gave us time between each course to enjoy our date night, and really helped make the evening special. We had the deviled eggs trio, French onion soup, Denver wagyu steak, duck breast, and bask cheese cake. The eggs and soup were AMAZING! We had never had either wagyu or duck before, and Taylor helped recommend the temperature of the duck for my first time. She suggested Medium, which was a great call. It was very good. Obviously , the wagyu steak was delicious as well. Unlike any steak we’ve ever had. Just melted in your mouth with so much flavor. She helped us decide on the cheesecake for dessert, which was the best choice for the end of that meal. We each had a couple of glasses of wine, and I had the Dark & Smokey cocktail after dinner, which was incredible. Plus, since we were celebrating a late Valentines Day, and my wife’s new job, we each got a complementary glass of champagne! We cannot recommend Up Cellar highly enough! Thanks to everyone there that helped make our night special.More infoUp CellarPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Bargersville•4.6
- KKevinAtlanta •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI came here for the first time to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We both enjoyed our food and drinks. The first drink they brought my partner was a specialty V-Day drink that he didn’t care for, but our server quickly removed it and brought out another drink he ordered with no problem. The service was amazing. I. Recommend you try the 16oz ribeye with the mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The crab dip starter was good as well. The whole experience was a 10/10.More infoThe Fountain RoomPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Mass Ave•4.6
- SSherriHawaii •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was our first time visiting Salt. It was much more spacious inside than I thought it would be, yet still felt comfortable & warm due to having different seating areas vs one big open room. We really liked the lighting and the decor, there was music in the background that wasn’t too overwhelming yet still made it feel like a fun Friday night. The ambiance alone makes me excited to dine there again. My daughter and I shared four appetizers and liked each one. Our favorite was the poke … beautiful presentation, and the rice underneath was addictive. The only preference I would have next time is no Sriracha mayo drizzled on it, instead just a little of that caramel soy they put under the rice. The calamari was nice and crunchy … it had good flavor on its own, but the dipping sauce was also good. The spicy tuna roll was nice & fresh, lovely presentation. Our least favorite of the four were the dumplings. They were really good, but didn’t need to be served in the citrus chile sauce. Maybe just squeeze a bit of it over the dumplings versus filling the bottom of the dish with it? Every dish that went by us to other tables looked amazing. Next time I’m excited to try the oysters Rockefeller and lamb lollipops, plus the skillet bread.More infoSalt at GeistPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Fishers / Geist•4.7
