- PPhilvipNew York City •118 reviews5.0Dined on 14 Nov 2024As soon as my wife and I entered the Red Salt Room we were reminded of why we dine here so often. The ambience of the spotless dining room was perfect. The lighting, the music and the table settings always make for an exceptional evening. Mary was our server for the evening. As soon as the hostess graciously sat us, Mary appeared. As Mary welcomed us, asking how we'd been since our last visit, Jose Luis poured our water and placed a basket of delicious bread on our table. We ordered a bottle of Brunello di Montalcino to complement the Australian Wagyu Striploin that Mary had recommended. The Waygu was added to the menu for the evening and it was delicious. Cooked to perfection by Chef Javier, it would definitely be a nice addition to an already delicious menu. My wife's entree was the Dry Aged Beef Pappardelle. She loved it. Sauteed Spinach for our side, two deliciously brewed coffees. Excellent. Thank you RSR.More infoRed Salt Room by David BurkePrice: Very Expensive• American• Garden City•4.8
