Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Belleville, Illinois

Our server Alexis was great. Most of our food was delicious except my tenderloin medallions. They were not tender at all. In fact they were really chewy as if I were eating a cheap cut of meat. It does come with a delicious sauce and mashed potatoes that I could not enjoy. Luckily I ordered a side of spaghetti with marinara sauce. It came late to the table. Although I said it wasn’t necessary to take it off the bill, they said it’s their policy. That was very nice of them. Our desserts were fantastic!!

Had the best time for my birthday! We were first-time visitors. The bartender gave us his recs while we were having a drink waiting for our reservation, and he was spot-on. We also had a lovely chat with the soon-to-be retiring Mary Rose. T-ravs made in-house were the lightest and tastiest ever. Our party also enjoyed calimari, delicious house salad, tutto mari, bolognese, spaghetti & meatballs, and the steak dish. Would recommend all these items. The bartender ended up also being our server, and he took great care of us.

We were seated on time and immediate attention was given by the server. Loved the waitress who answered questions and gave help on the menu items. Food was fantastic and we had a variety of meals from chicken to pizza to eggplant. The salads are big and need to be shared with someone. Pizzas are about 14 inches and can easily be shared. I highly recommend this restaurant. I also noticed that the manager is on site checking on things. It was a very pleasant experience.

I Adore all the 801 Chop locales, my first time at 801 local (across the street from Lifetime-Idyllic) The bustling warm ambiance was immediately cozy & Familiar. We were greeted & seated within 5 minutes, our Waiter Kevin was prompt, attentive, friendly & recommended the Best Wine (Paul Hobbs Pinot Noir) the Seafoood Crab starter—Divine, rich & indulgent—Filet Mignon, perfect & cooked exactly to order! Thank you Tabor for checking on us & assuring we had a Phenomenal meal. Definitely order the table rolls, they are Divine with truffle butter I could take a bath in 😸🫶

We love this restaurant! Unfortunately it is difficult to get reservations. Often it’s because they don’t have the servers.
