The three of us had a lovely lunch. Luckily, we had made a reservation as restaurant was very busy on this Wednesday at noon. Our server was great and did not miss a beat in anticipating our needs and we were able to relax and enjoy our meals. One had seafood trio and one had baked haddock which were such large portions that we both took leftovers home. The third person had a bowl of chowder. We topped it all off by splitting a warm apple crisp with ice cream which was more than enough for the 3 of us. Everything was delicious.

We had reservations on a Monday night due to the high demand because of the Christmas Pop up. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. People were taking walking around the taking pictures throughout the restaurant. We were sat at our table right away. Our waitress was very nice. We started with Garlic Knots which we both liked. I had the Bolognese which I enjoyed very much. My girlfriend had the braised short ribs which she also enjoyed. If you can get reservations we both recommend it.

From the drinks to the food - everything was delicious at 1606! We shared quahogs and crab dip for appetizers and then shared the fish and chips and mac and cheese for dinner. We were too full for dessert, but maybe next time! Our waiter was friendly, attentive and efficient. It was our first time dining here and we will be back.
