Not many visitors today, so lacking in atmostphere, but otherwise excellent

You need to try the mushroom pasta! So many people talk about how good the lasagna is (which it is), however, their pasta is also incredible. Have one of the best evenings ever!

A splendid meal and reasonably priced for the set menu. Go away from that and the bill can mount up, especially when adding drinks. The location was very pleasant, the staff welcoming and attentive with a nicely relaxed ambience. The food was delicious with a good selection of drinks. Highly recommended, particularly for special occasions.

Lovely rural venue, friendly staff and excellent food. Perhaps could do with more car park space on busy days - not in a boggy field; and more disabled parking close to the pub

Lovely lunch , we had Beef and stilton pie , mash and vegetables, all cooked beautifully and very tasty. Staff were friendly and attentive All in all a lovely lunch in lovely surroundings.
