Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Knebworth

My wife and I went to Lavish for Valentine’s Day evening meal . It was our first visit to the restaurant. The service was Excellent! Yanik the gentleman who looked after us was very welcoming , friendly and a gentleman. We were given plenty of time to select our drinks and food. The food roast lamb was delicious and the portions were Generous. The rest of the menu looked equally inviting and we will certainly visit the restaurant again to try other dishes on the menu. All other staff were very friendly and were always smiling. The restaurant had made a great effort in decorating the place for Valentine’s Day. This was my first experience at a Lussmanns restaurant and Lussmanns Hertford was a lovely experience. The manager was able to kindly reseat us, as I wanted to sit further into the restaurant. The food was delicious. I had the Cornish cod and market vegetables and apple crumble with a rather nice dessert wine to finish. Our waiter was very professional and provided a great service. I will definitely be back, there are so many things on the menu I would love to try. 

Lussmanns just keeps on delivering. Great food. I had the Mackerel croquettes followed by the Sole. Both were delicious. Great service. Of particular note was being able to adapt to meet my wife’s food allergies. Thank you Team Harpenden. Keep up the good work Ric

Always a good dining experience at Roys. It's usually quiet enough so you can enjoy a conversation without having to raise your voice. Food is of a high quality with good options for everyone. Desserts are great too and service is polite and reasonably quick. Highly recomendded.

We had a wonderful 3 course meal here. Food was great, the staff were polite and attentive. The restaurant was cosy and well laid out. Prices are quite high, but the quality of food and drink was great. I would have liked our main ( halibut) to have come with chips or boiled potatoes, but you have to order them separately. That is my only slight grumble on a very good evening out. Well worth a visit.
