- KK1234vipCleveland / Akron / Canton •22 reviews5.0Dined on 14 Nov 2024A great addition to the West Maui food scene. Feels like you are in Kyoto and you walk into a really good neighborhood sushi restaurant. Small and intimate space - 1 table of 4 and 7 seats at the sushi bar. The decor is clean and minimalist. The fish quality, assortment, and preparation were all outstanding! An all omakase menu with interesting sake pairings (good interesting). The hamachi shabu shabu, the Hokkaido scallop, and the snow crab were my favorites but the fish was all excellent and the ‘front row’ to watch the chef in action added to the atmosphere evening. For an authentic Japanese evening, Takumi hits the spot.More infoTakumi MauiPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese Speciality• Kaanapali•5
