Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Bear

La Fia may just be the best restaurant in Delaware. The dining room is inviting and unpretentious, but the food ranks right up there with some of the best spots in Philadelphia. I have never had a bad dish here - the menu rotates seasonally but there are some stand-out staples that remain, such as the duck leg confit. The servers are incredibly knowledgable and personable. While there are bigger-name, more publicized restaurants down the street, La Fia is a hidden gem where you can have a quality meal for a reasonable price.

Absolutely outstanding restaurant with unmatched steaks. The starters are refreshed periodically and reflect the chef’s eclectic viewpoint; I will never forget the oxtail empanadas that used to be on the menu, and the pork tostado that is on the current menu will take you to heaven! Service is outstanding and unpretentious and the classy yet welcoming atmosphere works for everything from a special family dinner to date night to girls night out. One of my favorite restaurants in the entire country!

The dining experience was overall pleasant, with a notable emphasis on the quality and presentation of the dishes, befitting a fine dining establishment. However, there is room for improvement in the service, particularly regarding the efficiency of taking orders and reducing wait times. While it is understandable that the preparation of high-quality meals requires time, a more streamlined process for placing orders would enhance the overall experience.

It had been about 8 years since I had been to Banks. The oyster selection is decent. The Brussels sprout salad, clams casino and Lobster in the Nude were great. The only downside was the clam chowder, that was all potatoes and no clams.
