Best Casual Restaurants in Varsity Lakes

We enjoyed a long lunch for two on a Sunday afternoon. Serices was brisk and attentive, with friendly, personable staff all round. The food (steak frites) was outstanding. We opted for that smaller meal option vs other steak size options due to plans later but the meal was one of the best of that dish we've had on the coast. Wine and drinks list were adequate. Would definitely go back!

We did the Yang Banquet Meal with the wine pairing and it was sensational. We dined on Valentine’s Day and it was a full house. However our food was delivered in a timely manner and to an impeccable standard. We loved every dish and we found the wines accentuated the flavours in each dish perfectly. Was a magical experience and would happily recommend and dine again in a heartbeat! Service too was attentive, professional, warm and friendly. Loved everything about our Valentines dinner at Mamasan! Thank you to all.

We had Valentine’s Day dinner. They were busy, fully booked, but we enjoyed close attention from the wait staff. Our meals arrived in good time for such a busy night. The food was really impressive. My new favourite chicken teriyaki. I highly recommend Masu Izakaya.

Great food served by friendly helpful staff. The place had a good vibe - not surprising as every seat was full when we got there. Music loud enough to enjoy but still able to talk. Not the cheapest but some of the best Japanese we have eaten in quite some time.

Fab! Would not recommend the lychee cocktail however as it changed taste each time. Second one it was like an off lychee taste. Food and other cocktails fantastic ‘
