Helmed by Executive Chef Bob Ryan, Little Sparrow is a neighborhood "continental" restaurant from Ford Fry. Inspired by Parisian bistros and Brooklyn’s favorite taverns, Little Sparrow picks up the mantle from its beloved predecessor, JCT Kitchen and Bar to serve the Westside in a new incarnation. Named in honor of superstar French chanteuse Edith Piaf (Fry’s Howell Mill Road steakhouse, Marcel, is named after Piaf’s lover, boxer Marcel Cerdan) the menu presents timeless Brasserie classics and simple, indulgent fare including an entire section dedicated to extraordinary "Frites." Tel Aviv beach vibes, upbeat Israeli tunes and fresh scents of falafel and sizzling skewers will welcome you into Rina. Casual, fresh and bright plates, putting a unique spin on traditional Israeli street food and hospitality traditions. Some recipes, including the falafel, have been passed down for generations through Baum’s (our owner!) family and were first served at Rina’s own falafel stand in Israel in the 1950’s. No wonder she chose to name the restaurant after the women who embedded some of the fondest memories of her upbringing. Rina also mean happiness in Hebrew and that is exactly how we intend to make you feel.

    What an incredible night of delicious food, exceptional service and a beautiful restaurant to celebrate Valentine's. Our server, Jose, was one of the best servers we have ever had. He was fun, knowledgeable, always there when we needed him. We ordered the French Onion Soup and the Mixed Salad to start, both were on point. My husband ordered their version of Steak Frites, a chopped ribeye basted in butter and thyme and served with the best frites! I ordered the Sole, deboned table side, it literally melted in my mouth. Dessert was Chocolate Souffle and Cheesecake...both again were made to perfection. We will definetly be back...sooner than later!

    We celebrated our anniversary weekend with a Friday night dinner at Max Lagers. Our server, Kris, was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu experience, and helped the night to be enjoyable. We had the fried okra for starters, the cowboy ribeye for our main course, finished with a delicious helping of bread pudding. The best fire grilled steaks!!! Everything was great. We found a true gem in downtown Atlanta that we will be sure to come again!
