Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. Me and my friends ordered the set menu “Bahala Ka Na” and everything that was brought out was really great! I had a mission to take photos of the food but after each meal that was sent out, we were just wanting more so I didn’t get the chance to take photos of the food haha. It was really nice to see my friends, who have not had filipino cuisine before, really enjoy filo food. Overall, from Service, food, ambience of the restaurant was really beautiful. Thank you Askal!

Food was very good. Really bad table service. Only 90 min seating and before you know it the manager comes and tells you to hurry up. Not much of mannerisms or courtesy. Quite rude actually. Makes the night rather unpleasant.

We had the degustation menu. The food was excellent, the staff were just the right amount of attentive and very pleasant, wine a little pricey. We left full. We will definitely be back.
