We are farmers and distillers, making Husk Rum and Ink Gin on our beautiful 150acre family farm. Husk Rum is a rare style made from farm to bottle using the finest quality freshly crushed cane juice grown and bottled at Husk Farm. Visit Husk Farm Distillery to learn & discover our spirits, enjoy good drinks and food and relax and connect to this ancient land. The Husk Distillery Bar & Planter’s Kitchen is open Wednesday-Sunday from 11am with a full cocktail and lunch menu available until 3pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends (subject to change), and an all day menu available until the kitchen closes.     Our group of 11, which included two children and a high chair, had a reservation at the cafe. Despite the heavy rain and bustling atmosphere, we were seated exactly where we requested, near the water view. The service was prompt, even with the crowd, and the food and drinks were both delicious and generously portioned. The waitress went the extra mile by bringing out candles for my birthday celebration and kindly took a family photo for us. This is my favorite cafe on the coast; we have visited several times before, and it never disappoints.

    You cannot go through life with out experiencing this restaurant. The food is outstanding, fresh with mouth watering flavours I couldn't get enough of. The wait staff are excellent, very attentive & seemed to be always there when we needed them without hovering. Wine selection is great & perfectly accompanied the food.

    Crocodile bites were so good!! We also loved the games of corn-hole and quoits that were free to play. We did the gin tasting and were so impressed with the berry ink gin that we just had to buy a bottle. If we’re down in the Tweed Valley again, we’ll be back!
