- LLouiseBuckinghamshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWent for a valentines meal - a 3 course meal for £35. Oh my goodness, the food was divine! Have been to the chequers several times and this was the best meal I’ve ever had there. I had mussels for a starter - a huge portion and went for the Cornish Market fish for my main. It was sea bass with kale and samphire and the most delicious crunchy roast potatoes. It was in a lemon/cream sauce. It was amazing. Passion fruit cheesecake to finish. Also very good. Staff were very attentive. The front of house staff are a credit to the establishment. Great place and to see the pub bar area so busy with locals was fantastic when you see so many pubs closing down. Thoroughly recommend.More infoThe Chequers InnPrice: Moderate• Contemporary British• Stokenchurch•4.8

Would highly recommend the frites starter, as they are a clear house favorite. Great selection of non-alcoholic drinks also. Atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff really ensure you are looked after. Definitely one of my regular go to spots.More infoThe Ivy Royal Windsor BrasseriePrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Windsor•4.5
- CChristinaVIPLondon •26 reviews5.0Dined on 13 Dec 2024We had an exceptional dinner experience for 2 . Very modern setting and stunning lake view. Service attentive and warm . We tried both the restaurant menus ( British & Indian) and all dishes were superb - to start we tried the cured ham hock and pistachio roulade, and the Tandoori murg tikka. Both dishes were fresh and very flavourful and delicious. Main courses we tried the chargrilled Sirloin steak with bernaise and delicious hand cut truffle chips, and the bhuna gosht slow cooked lamb with spices - fabulous and just the right level of spice. The Bitter Chocolate tart with caramel ice cream, and the passion fruit cheesecake were the perfect sweet end to the meal. Highly recommend and will definitely visit Glaze Restaurant again.More infoGlaze Restaurant at Crowne Plaza MarlowPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Marlow•3.7
