Catch Restaurant, located at the Hilton Hotel Surfers Paradise, serves contemporary Australian cuisine with a dash of Asian inspiration in its charming and elegant eatery. For starters, the oysters Kilpatrick with chorizo, Worcestershire sauce and smoky tomato and the skewered fish cakes with chili jam and garlic chives are superb selections.     A great place to visit, it wasn’t planned but we were pleasantly surprised. A one man band playing with an awesome play list . Amazing, beautiful cocktails, great an and delicious steak, perfectly cooked. The only fault was that the table service we had opted for really dropped off just when our meals arrived and we felt ghosted!!

    The food was great together with the experience. I was quoted and booked at $99 per head - considered a most reasonable and value for money. When the bill arrived it had an additional tax of $20. When questioned I was advised that this was GST. This was not stated on the confirmed booking. Most disappointing. GST has now been around for some 30 years and inspite of regulation, this tax is being used as a an add on. legislation states that prices must be quoted net of GST. An excellent dining experience left with a bad taste.
