Chocolate Buddha undertook an AMAZING renovation in 2019 by Maddison Architects. We have a 22 seater SUSHI TRAIN open Wednesday to Sunday lunches 12 - 3pm and Wednesday to Saturday Dinners 5 - 8pm it includes an EXPRESS train which delivers hot food ordered via a tablet. We offer QR menus at each table for ease of ordering, splitting bills and menu with pictures and descriptions. This type of ordering is optional so always let us know if you prefer to order with us.     This place is one and only, unique dining room. Every dumplings are carefully crafted and matched with its own dipping sauce. I loved a la carte menu as well, we had tempeh fry and spirulina noodle in soy broth, so amazing! Worth the travel!

    My regular for Thursday night trivia - a great weekly social event, free and welcoming. Close to trams and Southern Cross and easy to get too - great staff, very friendly, always a convivial fun atmosphere. Highly recommend.

    Overall great experience. Very busy just before Xmas and staff were lovely/ kept their cool under the pressure. Roast pumpkin salad with grilled salmon STUNNING as always. Only disappointment as the fries at $15 a bowl and there were lots of small, thinly cut chips that were over done, so at $15 and a third being inedible, that was not so good. But to sum up, terrific food and a great team.
