Best Canadian Restaurants in Beamsville

We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch at the Mill. The historic buildings, both inside and out, are gorgeous. And the food! It was a pleasure to have an expansive buffet offered. Everything was presented in a charming yet elegant way. The seafood (freshly shucked oysters, large shrimp, smoked salmon, mussels, crab legs), and plenty of it, was a highlight for us. But the carvery station with baked ham and roast beef and roast pork with old-fashioned crackling was equally yummy! The service and attention to detail really shine. And a big part of that was due to our server, Candace. She was simply wonderful. Thank you all. Our 50th wedding anniversary tour continues, but this was a highlight.

Quiet comfortable atmosphere. Dining room overlooks the vineyard and surrounding landscape beautifully. Food was prepared promptly and cooked to perfection. The pairings of the flavours of food to the wine was excellent. Totally charming place. Will definitely visit again!!

From french toast made with rich brioche to yogurt with sweet and crunchy granola to an omelette light enough to fly yet rich enough to marry then on to dinners that started with the best scallops this side of the east coast to beef tartare chopped fine enough to melt on your tongue as it swam gently with a cool poached egg before joining with what was proclaimed as "the best beef tenderloin I've ever had" before finishing with a decadent banana-chocolate bread pudding...... we're still swooning!! The service was impeccable and the candle on the plate to celebrate my husband's birthday was an appreciated extra touch. Might go back to Niagara on the Lake just for dinner here again!!!

We have been to Peninsula Ridge numerous times each time we have had excellent service and an excellent meal, ordering the surf and turf and a Caesar salad for an appetizer. This time my husband had the tomato bisque rice soup, and stated it was excellent, I again had the Caesar salad, which didn’t fail to, meet my expectations. We ordered the surf and turf again, the steaks were cooked perfectly, but there was a lot of sinew on the steaks this time making the steaks tough to eat. Otherwise, a very pleasant experience. 

Had company from Toronto that we only see twice a year. Lovely place to have a quiet visit. We will be back.
