Originally the Preston Hotel, it was renamed The Prescott in 1941, symbolizing its role as the last watering hole between Ottawa and Prescott, 100 km down the highway. During WWII, co-owner Giuseppe Costantini, an Italian-Canadian, was interned by the Canadian government as an "enemy alien," temporarily shutting down the hotel. Despite these challenges, The Prescott continued under the sole ownership of his partner, Antonio Disipio, and became a fixture in the community. Over the years, it has hosted family events, sponsored sports teams, and remained an iconic spot for locals.     love that there is an on line reservation platform. we had an adult birthday celebration at fun haven laser tag and chose this restaurant due to proximity. the service was friendly and professional. unfortunately they were out of the salmon dish which several of us wanted to order. the other meals were fine.
