Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Laconia

We visited Firefly Bistro to support the CASA fundraiser. It was our first time dining there. We were impressed by the friendly staff, the service and the cozy atmosphere. Our dinners were delicious! We will definitely be back!

Outstanding in every way. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, everything was perfect.

Such a beautiful atmosphere. My husband declared the delmonico steak to be the best he's ever eaten. I know this is a steakhouse, but the chicken parm was delicious! Everyone was great, from the host to our server!

Went tonight for our anniversary and was only disappointed by my inability to find room to eat more of everything. To start with, the bussers and runners were very prompt, professional and good mannered. Our waitress, Erica N, was great and very attentive despite having a heavier than usual load due to last minute staff shortage. She was funny, friendly and efficient at all times. For the food, we started with warm bread and dipping oil, both of which were perfect. We had the sweet potato bisque which was served with bacon bits and maple syrup. The portion was large but we somehow couldn’t stop eating it! We then shared a Caesar salad which was served with shaved Parmesan and could have been shared at least a 3rd time, but again we almost finished that. My wife chose the petite filet which was served with a red wine Demi glaze reduction. I chose the beef stroganoff with a side of Parmesan encrusted creamed spinach. Another large portion of a very savory beef stroganoff topped with a dollop of sour cream. This was even better than I had hoped with large chunks of tender beef, long wide noodles and lots of gravy. The spinach was served in a small crock that was piping hot with browned grated Parmesan covering the top. Also a delicious addition. We finished by sharing a piece of the Flourless chocolate cake. Well worth the extra calories! We brought home a lot to be enjoyed again!

Took my 12 & 14yr old sons for their 1st visit. Our server, Ana, was fantastic. All the food was delicious. We will be back. Thank you for a great evening.
