Best Italian Restaurants in Avon Lake

The table bread had a fantastic crust with an amazing crunch, but the inside of the bread was soft and chewy, and just so delicious. It came with dipping sauce that included roasted garlic, which was to die for. We had the sacchetti as an appetizer and it was just as delicious as the bread. For our meals, we had the Bolognese and the tortellini and both were so delicious. The portion sizes were good, but not ridiculously large. The amount of protein included was generous. The pasta was delightful. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the mousse and both were a spectacular ending to a spectacular meal. The service was perfect, she took the time to chat a little here and there but never hovered. The noise level was a little louder than I’d prefer but not obnoxiously so. We will definitely eat here again. 

You cannot go wrong with anything you order at Bar Italia! We’ve been here a few times and it’s just amazing. Highly recommend the spicy vodka pasta and the short rib pesto arancini appetizer! Always enjoy the house sangria as well. Must try if you’re in the area!

This was my partner’s and I first time here. We walked in to an absolutely beautiful atmosphere and the staff we friendly from the moment we walked in. Despite being an open kitchen we can see in to, it didnt feel chaotic or even loud, it was just a beautiful experience we got to enjoy together. Food was fresh and it wasnt over the top but it was elegant and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Our waitress Bridgette was fantastic & the food was absolutely delicious! We can’t wait to go back!

Such a cozy beautiful restaurant! We had a delicious meal and Joe our server was excellent. A true gem in Rocky River.
