Best Italian Restaurants in University of South Florida

Amazing food. Definitely worth going for the gnocchi alone. We had the Burrata, stuffed mushroom, parm to table, focaccia, gnocchi and tiramisu - everything was phenomenal. The service was excellent. The noise level was a bit loud but might have just been where are table was.

My husband and I had not been to Cassa Della Pasta in several years and decided it was time for another visit. Our food was out of this world. The toast and flavored butter, the bread with some wonderful EVOO, the prosciutto and Burrata appetizer, his lobster pasta, and my Flounder dish… All were absolutely delicious. 

I was WOWED last night by the tasteful Holiday decorations at Sacred Pepper which make the ambiance there that much more spectacular. I always start my dinner with one of their excellent choices of fine wine and it puts me in a great mood to enjoy another fantastic dinner. I had the Pork Chop dinner with the pear chutney and fiocchi pasta with butter sage sauce and it was delicious. I added a side pasta dish with a choice of sauce and it was filling and full of flavor. The service staff is exceptional and the best of all the restaurants I have been to in the Tampa area. They are all so friendly, welcoming, attentive, and they work so well together to make sure you have a memorable dining experience.

WOW! That was my first thought about having the pizza experience at Quality Foods Market. My wife and I have been doing the chef's table experience for months, and have been blown away by the food and service. Chef Chris provides a culinary show, with exceptional service, that is so much better than anywhere else in Tampa Bay. We've always wondered about the pizza since it is not served in the dining room. It is only served on the patio and we've never dined on the patio before. It's small and intimate, just like the dining room, and there's this huge privacy shade that blocks off the parking lot. It made for a nice, private setting. We ordered a traditional margherita and a sausage and broccoli rabe. I've had pizza in Naples Italy a couple of times. I swear this was better. The crust had a great chew with just the right amount of char from the fire, and the fresh cheeses were like butter. Both tasted amazingly fresh, and just like they serve them in Italy, they were served with a knife and fork because they aren't cut! It was really like we were back in Naples. We knew anything from Chef Chris would be great, but these were above and beyond. THE BEST PIZZA ANYWHERE. We've already made reservations to come back for pizza two more times in December.

A friend recommended this restaurant for a girls night out & it immediately became my new fave Italian restaurant! The bread & the gnocchi are soooo delicious, I crave them every so often now. I love the history on the menu & how you can see into the kitchen. The staff is very helpful & it's a nice place with great food, so I highly recommend it!
