- MMelaniePhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI have always leaned towards spice because of where I grew up and the culinary influences so River Twice was a revelation. The clean crisp flavors and the use of culinary techniques to enhance the dishes was something I have never experienced before. It was an emotional experience. The use of dehydrated mushrooms to enhance the tuna and then combining it with kumquats 🤯🤯🤯. My daughter and I are on a culinary journey, exposing ourselves to new flavors and and we have been trying some really awesome food but this is the first place we immediately wanted to return.More infoRiver TwicePrice: Very Expensive• American• South Philly•4.6

We rarely go out on Valentine's Day, but since it was a special day, the three of us went. Anthony was our waiter, it was good to see him again after a while! For drinks, Dad and I had soda, and Mom had root beer. For appetizers, Mom and Dad each ordered a bowl of the Squash Bisque. Mom had hers without the roasted pumpkin seeds, and just the chili oil, while Dad had his with both. They enjoyed it, as always!! for the main course, Mom ordered the=salad special. Dad ordered his favorite, the Verlasso Salmon, which was cooked perfectly by Chef Mike! It was pecan-crusted, and was served with a maple bourbon glaze, roasted yams, apples. and Eagle Road Farm lacinato kale. He really enjoyed it, as always!!! I ordered my usual favorite, the White Dog Double Cheddar Burger without the smoked bacon mayo, bibb lettuce, and tomato, and with just the cheese and grilled red onion, served on a brioche bun, served with a side of plain fries and a side of Roasted Brussels Sprouts, which had Pennsylvania maple dressing and bacon. They were gone in seconds!! Chef Pablo did an AMAZING job cooking my burger; he's the best! For dessert, Dad ordered one of the dessert specials, which was yellow cake with passion fruit and chocolate inside. I ordered the Chocolate Cheesecake without the spiced red wine cherries, and just the chocolate ganache and whipped cream. It was delicious, as always!!! Jaton, Oy, and Dan, the assistant managers and general manager, and Charlie, another server, all came by to our table to see how our food was! Thank you for another delicious White Dog Cafe Glen Mills! See you again soon! Happy Valentine's Day and Go EAGLES!!More infoWhite Dog Cafe Glen MillsPrice: Moderate• American• Glen Mills•4.6

It did not matter that my date could not make it on this particular socially interpreted holiday. It was a night that melted my heart in so many wonderful ways. I am sharing this experience with everyone I know and whomever I meet. A perfect place to enjoy for all of your plans. I am looking forward to the "CHEERS" feeling again and again. This was no coincidence. Enjoy!More infoThe LovePrice: Expensive• American• Rittenhouse Square•4.8

My husband really enjoyed his Special Breakfast and of course the flower pot bread with the cinnamon butter was so good.. The non alcoholic drinks were so tasty. I have had the alcoholic ones before, and they are great, but decided on non-alcoholic this time.. No complaints!!More infoTerrain Cafe - DevonPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Main Line•4.5

Food was great. Bread was a pleasant surprise. $5 for a cup of tea seems steep. I mean, isn’t it basically hot water?More infoTerrain Cafe – Glen MillsPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Glen Mills•4.5
