Best Steak Restaurants in Barnstable

Pete has become one of the best restaurants on Cape Cod The hospitality is beyond compare. The food is Pyrexx in the atmosphere is amazing.

We had a nice meal again. My wife had the halibut entree and I had a Nantucket scallop scampi special-both delicious. Our server, Matty, was delightful. We shared crab cake appetizer and I tried the Azorean Old Fashion cocktail which was very good but the maple syrup doesn’t mix well and leaves pure syrup at the bottom of the drink-too thick and sweet. My wife enjoyed a glass of cab wine. We were too full to consider dessert. Very busy place, as always, bustling with activity

This was our first time to Embargo, we went there because of the positive reviews. My wife and I each had a martini and we shared four tapas, and then shared a “creamy espresso martini” for dessert. The food was fantastic and our server Michelle was great. She didn’t rush us but always seemed to appear at just the right time. This restaurant is highly recommended..

I had the three course prefix meal and was impressed with the large options from which I could choose. I had the fish soup was which was very tasty and I had the Marco Polo salmon which I found delicious and was impressed with the crispy skin. For dessert I had themoney ice cream covered with the chocolate sauce

This was our second visit to Ocean Edge, our first visit to the Terrace. There was a wedding reception the night we attended and we weren't able to see the water as the result. It was beautiful to be outside and the heaters helped keep us warm. The prices are really high on the food but the portions are not large. Next time, I will return to another local favorite which has delicious food and larger portion sizes for the price. Ocean Edge is beautiful, but I don't think we will return.
