My last post enumerated the many virtues - food, service, ambience - of this wonderful restaurant. So we were curious to know if the same level of excellence would be achieved. The verdict - they surpassed all expectations. It was hard to image that they could provide a better experience than before but they absolutely did. The cuisine and cocktails were superb and our server Ragan was an absolute delight - pleasant, attentive and efficient. As expected the service was great and very attentive especially since it was a holiday and they were busy. We started by sharing the vegetable egg rolls which were delicious. My husband had the shrimp pad Thai, which he loved. I tasted it and it was delicious. I ordered the scallops. Even though they were good I was disappointed. There were 4 on my plate and they were small. They were all topped with caviar but I did feel for the price and their size maybe one or two more on the plate should have been considered. It did come with broccoli, but only 2 tops no stalks. The vegetables were mostly onions and red peppers. Crazy, Jimmy, Volcano, Edison, Southern rolls are all unbelievable! Saki is warm and all you can drink.
