Whilst the chateaubriand was tender, had a beautiful crust it was cooked medium rare rather than rare. It was however eaten and very much enjoyed. Staff were exceptionally pleasant keeping us updated at all times, without the feeling that our evening was continuously being interrupted. Great food and service, big portions so good value, last time I had the pork belly bites for starter and they were delicious, my partner said he could just eat a whole bowl of them. This time I had the fish and chips and enjoyed it. Service all round was excellent, friendly and helpful, need to try the sunday roast next.
