STIR is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a night out, host clients, or sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters. Located in North Hills, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Our cold bar and kitchen offers fresh oysters from North Carolina and beyond, traditional Mexican and Peruvian ceviche, and classic entrees and specials, all prepared from scratch.STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result is a categorically elevated cocktail. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure. We welcome Raleigh to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood from the cold bar, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality.

Mandolin is a breath of fresh air to the Raleigh dining scene, combining a casual atmosphere with fresh, contemporary, Southern fare. Mandolin uses the highest quality local ingredients to create seasonal menus that resonate with foodies and casual diners, alike. We share our food in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere that replaces the stuffiness of fine-dining with Southern charm. The menu and ambiance reflect the character of Raleigh itself- a blend of rustic and refined, contemporary and traditional, rural and metropolitan. Mandolin, like the City of Oaks, is Southern at its roots, but draws influences from around the world. We love our new home in Hayes Barton, just a stone's throw from Five Points, on the corner of Oberlin and Fairview.

Beautiful restaurant, service was good. Food was tasty, but expensive (which is what we expected). We waited quite a bit for our food, so I’m glad we ordered the corn bread, which was delicious. The lighting was shockingly bright and took away from the ambience of the dinner, which would be my biggest feedback! Overall good experience.

Great atmosphere, beautiful setting, a little chilly from where we were seated. I loved that everyone worked together. Because once we placed our order with the server, we saw less of her. Our food courses were brought out by other team members, including the wine that we had to order from someone else . My entree was delicious, I had the salmon, nice portion, a little sweet, the arugula helped cut the sweetness. I paired it with broccolini. In closing, we had the house-made chocolate chip cookies, which were delicious, but took 15 minutes to receive. Needless to say, it was recognized and removed from the final bill.

Irregardless is one of our favorite places to go before we attend a performance downtown. Tonight, we had exceptional service, interesting cocktails, and excellent food, and we were on our way in less than an hour. This delightful Raleigh landmark is always a good choice. My spanakopita was just right, and my husband's steak was beautifully cooked.

You need to define or let people know where the parking is and have availability for handicap parking without walking a city block away The doctors parking across the street I am sure people are being towed from there as they thought that it was parking for your location
