- AADAMLondon •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoWe went to Gaucho in Covent Garden for my son's 18th Birthday last Saturday night. We booked in advance and our table was downstairs. It is ENERGETIC, with a DJ, pulsing music and the dinner was accompanied by a team of tango dancers in true Argentinian fashion. It was huge fun and the dancers were spectacular. The other diners seemed to love it, and we certainly did. We opted for starters and steaks, with a glass of champagne and a good Argentinian Malbec. The food was excellent, the fillet steak being just perfectly cooked. Sides were generous and really a good accompaniment. Above all, our waiter, Luca, was just a perfect gentleman. Nothing was too much trouble. He was wonderful and very kind. I'd arranged before for some kind of cake to be given to my son, but Luca and the team prepared a special apple crumble - my son's favourite desert. It capped off a terrific evening. I very much recommend Gaucho for a wonderful, fun, noisy Saturday night. The DJ was great but the music is kind of loud. So be prepared to have to shout a bit when the tunes start to flow. But if tango and music and good food is your thing, you've a treat in store.More infoGaucho - Covent GardenPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Covent Garden•4.2

Service was very good, our table wasn’t great as I spent all dinner facing and looking at the main waiter area behind the kitchen. This branch of the chain seem to lack and form of atmosphereMore infoGaucho ChanceryPrice: Expensive• Steak• Chancery Lane•4.5

The atmosphere was warm, and the music was just right. I will definitely be going back very soon. The Sangeria was lovelyMore infoCHIMICHURRISPrice: Moderate• Argentinean• Southwark•4.8

Despite the busy lunchtime, there was a warm welcome, I was promptly seated and served, with a perfectly cooked steak and wonderful staff at the establishment. In New York & Chicago it was Smith & Wollensky for steak, but in London, it can only be Gaucho!More infoGaucho CityPrice: Expensive• Steak• Fenchurch Street•4.6
