- NNancySan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a lovely time and enjoyed the high tea very much. The food was delicious except the curry chicken salad on croissant had no flavor and was dry. Everything else was wonderful. The service was excellent. It was a fun splurge.More infoThe Rotunda at Neiman Marcus - San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown / Union Square•4.8
- JJohnSacramento / Sacramento Valley •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe celebrated a birthday brunch and had a really lovely meal. The birthday guest was presented with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, which was very sweet, however ended up added to our bill. We opted to not make a big deal, since we were dining with a baby in a high chair who made a little mess, and even though we cleaned up some, the staff were super nice and said they'd take care of it. The food was really good, we got the doughnut holes, a couple of fennel sausage stratas (the sprouts on the strata were slightly chewy but fresh and edible), pancakes, and ricotta scrambled eggs, and a couple bloody marys. The kids had plain scrambled eggs which was not on the menu but offered by the wait person. Also really nice. The wait was reasonable, everyone working couldn't have been nicer. It would have been nice to sit out on the patio, but the weather was pretty cold, so we stayed inside. I'd go back.More infoThe Grove at CopiaPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Napa•4.3
- TTrifariCalifornia Central Coast •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was my favorite dining experience in Napa. Every single dish we ordered was superb. The service was amazing, our water glasses were always full, and the playlist was PERFECTION. We were celebrating our birthday’s and dancing in our seats the entire meal. I loved being able to see Chef and his team working and interacting behind the scene, the open concept feels intimate but classy. Every dish from appetizers to desert was so layered. The Pakora! The himachi tartare took my taste buds on a fantastic voyage, definitely a work of art. Our main was a chicken special that came in a cast iron pan with fries and sauce from the comfort Gods. We finished with the red velvet cake! The entire meal was perfection and we will be back every time we return to Napa. Thank you so much Torq, your restaurant fit our personality in a way I haven’t experienced anywhere else. - LLindaPhoenix / Arizona •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe love supporting students. Dinner was exceptional in terms of quality and inventive menu options. Many dishes featured farm to table ingredients of highest quality. My Halibut Crudo was a work of art in presentation and was delicious. Risotto with preserved lemon had a delightfully brisk lemony tartness. Striped bass was great, and French apple tart with Frangipane was rich and luscious. I know their menu changes so options may be different. Truly the best dinner option in Napa valley that also supports the wonderful culinary students. Highly recommended! Our server, Logan was professional and a pleasure.More infoGatehouse Restaurant at The Culinary Institute of AmericaPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• St. Helena•4.8
