We have changed up the menu since re-opening this fall [2023] . We are catering more now to our wonderful neighborhood, and neighbors. So be prepared for a totally different menu than the old "579". I have been to Hemenway's in the past and this restaurant never ceases to be top notch. The Service (shoutout to Mia!) was fantastic and the food and atmosphere outstanding. I highly recommend Hemenway's. We were celebrating an anniversary and it was pretty cool that our table was sprinkled with rose petals and we were greeted numerous times with a hearty "Happy Anniversary! by a number of the wait staff and greeters(?). Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants anywhere!

Lovely to have this restaurant back ! All the food was done perfectly- we had salmon,steak, waterman salad and mezze platter. The ambiance is always so comfortable for talking and relaxing! Service was attentive but not overly so - no rushing :) overall, a great experience for our group of 5!
