Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Spartanburg

Fried flounder feature was delicious! Southern style orzo was creamy and was also very good. The pinecone dessert was amazing and looked incredible.

This place never disappoints. If you’re looking for southern comfort food done right this is the place. We visit every time we come to Greenville. The sassafras chicken is one of our favorites. Shrimp and grits, salmon, steaks are all very good. Side dish choices are perfect accompaniments. The service and hospitality are spot on. Great daily specials. Very welcoming place.

Amber is a wonderful server. The Pork Belly entree was nothing short of awful…all fat…not at all crispy like I’ve had there before. Amber did offer me the chance to order something else instead which unfortunately I declined. Another member of our party ordered the Cajun chicken pot pie but it wasn’t the least bit Cajun. He likes spicy so he was disappointed. Amber offered me a dessert which I’d thought would be complimentary as a small compensation for my uneaten pork belly…and I let her choose the dessert…bread pudding was good. However I guess we misunderstood as she charged me for it. We didnt make an issue of it but we were disappointed. I love Heirloom but my hubby says we won’t be going back for awhile.

The lazy goat has again left me excited and happy! The staff were amazing and took care of us! It was our anniversary date and I had put in a special request and they met all expectations and above that. Out server was sweet and caring, definitely deserved a 10/10 review. If you want a special occasion I would 100% book the lazy goat. Shout out to the entire staff for making our night a night to remember!
