- EEdison1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWent here for Valentine’s Day and we had a great time. We got there about 45 min early because traffic was crazy so instead of going to a cocktail bar and risking being late for our reservation we just decided to have some drinks at the bar while waiting for our reservation. The Sangrias were delicious and the bartenders were really nice and accommodating. They ended up seating us early which was nice. The restaurant was as busy and had a great ambiance everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and we were too. We had the oysters (so good) it was my dates first time trying oysters and she loved them. We also tried a bunch of tapas plates and everything was delicious especially the Croquetas with the guava sauce. I wanted more. We also had the pork belly which was good. Our piece was really fatty with not too much meat but the flavor was great. Probably was our least favorite only because it was all fat but I’m not someone to complain as I work in the industry I ate it anyway. The shrimp was really good. Overall we had a great time all around. Will definitely be back to try more options. Thanks for a nice night guys. Great job.More infoBesos Tapas & Wine BarPrice: Moderate• Tapas / Small Plates• East Greenwich•4.2

Please add this to the regular menu as it was outstanding. 2 of us had the lobster ravioli special and were blown away with how delicious it was. We both commented that they were far and away the best lobster raviolis we had ever had. The sauce was especially delicious and so different. My husband tried the steak special and loved that as well. The accompaniment vegetable which was a layered ‘something’ which he could not identify was apparently delicious. The last of us had the sole Milanese and this was also loved. As usual the staff was excellent as were the views of the water. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience!More infoThe Mooring RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Newport•4.7

The homemade caviar pasta pasta appetizer was outstanding. Everything we ordered was carefully prepared and very tasty. - SSandraGreater Boston •9 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe thoroughly enjoyed evening out. We were lucky enough to book our reservation for the Tuesday candlelight night experience. The ambience was really quite relaxing and beautiful. The illumination of all the candles against the windows overlooking the ocean was just divine. There were many wonderful choices for entrees on the menu, however, my husband and I each had the evening's dinner specials which were excellent. I had the pasta dinner special (linguine with lobster, shrimp and scallops in a light ginger cream sauce) and my husband had the short rib dinner with mashed potatoes and haricot verts (french green beans). The server was pleasant, friendly and informative. We will definitely return again.More infoThe Coast Guard HousePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Narragansett•4.7
