- NNeilVIPCalgary / Southern Alberta •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOutstanding food and service experience. Al Fresco dining was divine, two musicians created a delightful background music effect, while random fireworks could be seen over Banderas Bay (as close as the Malecón and as far away as the Marina near Shangri-La). The combination of tasty tapas (good sized portions), professional and attentive service (gracias Jesus - our server), and expansive rooftop views (top two floors, 4th and 5th, access via elevator) created an extremely favourable impression reminiscent of two other dining favourites, namely La Capella and Hacienda San Angel. Bravo Barcelona Tapas on your continued success.More infoBarcelona Tapas - Puerto VallartaPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Puerto Vallarta•4.8

With Aldo’s incredible suggestions we enjoyed the squash blossoms, the pumpkin soup (mind blowing), the local fish and the Angus fillet. Thank you for giving us an amazing evening and looking forward to seeing you guys next year. - RRonDenver / Colorado •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoTop notch setting with the historic church within immediate view. Book prior to sunset and it's spectacular! A main dining area with domed painted ceilings and expansive patios for outside seating. Multiple talented violinists set a very romantic tone. Stay long enough and the Pirate Ship will shoot fireworks in front of the patio. We were not rushed and service was superb, the main entree was good, not great. My wife's octopus was slightly over done, not tough but not as tender as we have had at other world class places. My Seabass was also good, not great. Had better Seabass at Puro Peru. The atmosphere made up for the slight food issues. I felt the price was fair for our experience. Would go back and try some other menu items.More infoLa CappellaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Puerto Vallarta•4.8
