Best Seafood Restaurants in Camberwell

We had an outstanding experience at Gilbee's. It went well beyond what we were expecting from a local eatery, with both the food and service at a standard you'd expect at a high-end restaurant. Every waiter we encountered was personable, knowledgable and, most importantly, warm and friendly without being overbearing or saccharine. The food was something else - clever cookery using the freshest of ingredients. We had the "local's night" set menu which included a variety of seafood presented beautifully. Layers of flavour in every dish, mussels and fish cooked to absolute perfection, crisp croquettes, and fluffy focaccia with airy whipped butter. We indulged in a single piece of the burnt basque cheesecake for dessert as an optional add-on and I wished we'd bought two! It was light and creamy, but rich in flavour. I'd recommend it without hesitation - we're already planning our next visit and deciding which lucky people we will bring with us next time!

We hadn't visited Tommy Ruff for a couple of years but it was just as good as we remembered. Friendly service and great food.

Loved the bbq Calamari!! Partner thought the pita bread and lamb was lovely too. Service was impeccable- they bought out the entrees super quick and waited until we were done to serve the mains piping hot and delicious. Everyone was so lovely!! had a great time.,
