Best Italian Restaurants in Killiney

We had a great experience at Host. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff are exceptionally welcoming. I could not fault a single thing about the experience. We had the chef's menu and each plate that came out was more amazing than the one that came before. The menu has clearly been carefully curated to showcase food in season at the moment, and the quality of the produce was evident and the value for money is second to none. We are already looking forward to our next dining experience at Host.

Absolutely incredible, every aspect, from the wonderful service and help wading through the wine list, to the ambiance and watching the fresh pasta being made, to the myriad of delicious dishes, everything was thought out so perfectly! The pumpkin agnolotti with sage butter and hazelnuts was a showstopper, so rich and smooth, every bite I took was followed by a smile. Also the bread and olive oil was divine, in addition to the suppli. All complimented so perfectly by the wine, it was a terrific experience :)

Was greeted by very friendly staff and was taken to a very nice and clean table. Loads to choose from on the menu and it was actually a little tricky to pick. Got a calzone in the end and that was unreal. Took a few minutes but that’s to be expected with a wood fired oven of course and gave me time to chat. Staff were very attentive and helpful. I will definitely be returning to try some other things off their menu and was beyond impressed with the whole experience as a whole.

Really lovely experience from start to finish. Service was really attentive and friendly. Lovely menu and we all enjoyed everything we ordered, from delicious bruschetta and aubergine parmigiana to gorgeous whole black sole, mushroom ravioli and seafood pasta. The homemade tiramisu was divine also! Looking forward to going back!
