Best Sunday Lunch Restaurants in Downers Grove

Took a little bit of time past our reservation to get seated but server was great. He was prompt and kept our drinks filled. The food was outstanding. I was a little disappointed I couldn’t do the surf and turf special GF. I would have been fine with the lobster minus the crab filling. Maybe there was more to it to make it GF. Did the filet mignon and it was great! Always happy to dine here!!!

Hummus wa excellent. Spaghetti squash lasagna was delicious. My husband enjoyed his burger Flourless chocolate cake with vegan ice cream- very yummy!! Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

Really nice menu, especially for my vegetarian guest. Innovative cocktails. A nice Prix Fixe menu for Valentine's Day. Went for an early dinner so the noise level was great for conversation. Lot's of marble and chrome surfaces, so just a tad on the cool side, atmospherically. Definitely want to go back, though.

As always, the service was outstanding even though they were crazy busy. The manager was very gracious about accommodating a table request we had. My steak was a little overdone but they handled it right away. Food is expensive but really good. It was noisier than normal but that was expected given that it was Valentines Day !

The young man that waited and us did an excellent job! He was very warm and friendly, but not overpowering or allowed. He came back to our table repeatedly to see if we needed anything else, to give us help with the menu, to bring our food, etc. He sure got his steps in for the evening! He was extremely professional and very kind. The music in the background was lovely, not loud, not quiet, somewhere in between. The desserts were delicious! The amount of food we got was more than enough and led to many leftovers going home with us. It was a perfect overall experience!
