Best Restaurants with a Wood Oven in Fox Point

Dinner was delicious - we had the filet & rib eye, both cooked perfectly. Great wedge salad. Nice ambience, very good service - not rushed. Server gave us free glass of champagne since we were celebrating an anniversary - nice touch

My wife and I went to Mr. B's to celebrate our birthdays. Very clean and roomy dining area. The food was delicious. We tried the bacon appetizer: a generous portion of thick, meaty, and smoky bacon with mildly sweet glaze which was a great way to start. She had the filet and I had the NY strip. Both were cooked medium rare, and had a nice crust with a buttery, herb finish that perfectly complemented the robust flavor of the beef. The potato and side of roasted carrots were great compliments to the meal. The staff was very friendly efficient and knowledgeable. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.

Service was great. Our server, Janet, made many recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Food was creative and delicious. The pace of the meal was relaxed. We never felt rushed. Highly recommend.

We visit Zarletti Mequon every 6 weeks or so, and the food is always terrific. The shrimp scampi and pasta dishes rock, as does the chopped salad. Our only challenge revolves around timing. Often times (last three visits), our drinks don't come out slow... after the salad has been served. Likewise, glasses of wine (even when ordered right when initial drinks are served) don't arrive until well after the entree is served. To me management might be well advised to adopt a policy of "it's on time, or it's on us."
